Indian Epic tales have fascinated me since childhood and it provides me with great pleasure to be able to depict these tales of heroism and spirituality through colours and paintbrush. Mythological figures such as Krishna, Hanuman, Narasimha and Vishnu are a very significant part of my works. These figures are highlighted through texts and other smaller pictures in the background on the canvas. Moreover, I try to use different textures for the main image to further accentuate its appeal and give it a theatrical twist. Furthermore, well defined lines and colour patches affix yet another dimension to its visual charm.

Pramod Reddy is a modern artist whose works explore mythological figures in acrylic, mixed media, drawing, prints, digital art and photographs. He imbibes the element of mysticism through his art. One of his most successful shows was held at Aalankritha Art Gallery, Hyderabad in 2015. His works are also well received in the United States of America.
